ok i read on a lot of sites that says marijuana is haram because it is an intoxicant and a lot of peoples says that because they never use it and what i want to ask is what about the medical purpose marijuana have now days we are fineing out that they are perscribing marijuana for eye problems and diseases such as aids and cancer for it to cause somany health problems then why are the doctors is giving it as a medicine i also have tried it for medical reason cause of what they say and i didnt feel any intoxicants and it help my problem with my nerves i was feeling numbness in my hands and feet and my muscles was twitching and it also help me with my insomia after i tried it i didnt had these problems for two days and then it came back so i tried it again and now its been a month or so and what about that some beliefs says it put you on a spritual level with god shouldnt islam promote that doesnt islam say that we are sopose to respect other cultures and beliefs before islam came to the rest of africa the afriacans was smoking marijuana and never had health issues and so did the native americans and i live in the hood and i never seen anybody intoxicated from smoking it or had health issues i feel more sick when i fast then i ever felt from smoking marijuana but Allah told us to fast for him and thats what we should do and a lot of reason why peoples now days are having health issues is because they are adding chemicals that is not natural like the things ciggrets have in them now are not the same back then and ciggerets i think should be haram cause of the nickotine in them and nickotine is a drug marijuana is an herb peoples been useing it for years for food and clothing so is marijuana haram now that i brought up the good effects of it that is my question if not haram i think it should be halal and i think Allah put it here so we wouldnt have to take pills or any other man made drug because dope is a man made drug Allah made marijuana you dont have to do any thing to it and it grows naturaly rastafarians believe it grew on solomons grave the wise's man on earth can some body please tell me if its still harum or now hakruh
