As Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullallahi wa Barakatuhu

(Allah) will say: "Enter you in the company of nations who passed away before you, of men and Jinn, into the Fire.'' Every time a new nation enters, it curses its sister nation (that went before) until they are all together in the Fire. The last of them will say to the first of them: "Our Lord! These misled us, so give them a double torment of the Fire.'' He will say: "For each one there is double (torment), but you know not.''   The first of them will say to the last of them: "You were not better than us, so taste the torment for what you used to earn.'"

Surah Al-Araf 7:38-39

Al-Imran - 110

You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma`ruf (all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Fasiqun (rebellious}

Those who wait and watch about you; if you gain a victory from Allah, they say: "Were we not with you'' But if the disbelievers gain a success, they say (to them): "Did we not gain mastery over you and did we not protect you from the believers'' Allah will judge between you (all) on the Day of Resurrection. Surah Al-Baqarah 2: 285-286

The Messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. (They say,) "We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers and they say, "We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return (of all).''

Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned. "Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Mawla (Patron, Supporter and Protector) and give us victory over the disbelieving people.''

As'Salamu Alaikum

The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His apostles. "We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His apostles." And they say: "We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys."

As Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient). Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return. They are those on whom are the Salawat (i.e., who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones. (Surah Al-Baqarah 2: 155-157)

"Prayer is the essence of worship."
[Hadith]

"Truly, to a happy state shall attain the believers:
those who humble themselves in their prayer,
and who turn away from all that is frivolous,
and who are intent on inner purity."
[Qur'an 23:1-4]

"And I have chosen you,
so listen to that which is inspired to you.
Verily, I am Allah!
There is none worthy of worship but I,
so worship Me
and offer prayer perfectly for My remembrance."
[Taha 13-14]

Be ever mindful of prayers,
and of praying in the most excellent way;
and stand before God in devout obedience.
[Qur'an 2:238]

And before God prostrate themselves,
willingly or unwillingly,
all things and beings that are in the heavens and the earth,
as do their shadows in the mornings and the evenings.
[Qur'an 13:15]

O you who believe!
Seek help in patience and prayer.
Truly! Allah is with the patient."
[surah al Baqarah; 2:153-154]

Verily, the prayer keeps one
from the great sins and evil deeds"
[al Ankabut 45]

Extol, then, God's limitless glory
when you enter upon the evening hours, and when you rise at morn;
and seeing that unto Him is due all praise in the heavens and earth,
glorify Him in the afternoon as well,
and when you enter upon the hour of noon.
[Qur'an 30:17-18]

1. Whose hearts? and 2. Whose eyes?

And may I ask what is your motive behind quoting a random verse out of context?

And may I make it clear to you that to understand this and similar verses it is necessary to know the context and this will most likely be available in the preceding verses.

Please read from verse 106 onwards to know Whose hearts and Whose eyes.

106. Follow what has been inspired (revealed) to you from your Lord, none has the right to be worshipped but He, and turn aside from the idolators.
107. Had Allah willed, they would not have taken others besides Him in worship. And We have not made you Hafiz over them nor are you set over them to dispose of their affairs.
Allah commands His Messenger and those who followed his path,

Follow what has been inspired to you from your Lord,
meaning, follow it, obey it and act according to it. What has been revealed to you from your Lord is the Truth, no doubt, and there is no deity worthy of worship except Him,

and turn aside from the idolators
meaning, forgive them, be forbearing and endure their harm until Allah brings relief to you, supports you and makes you triumphant over them. Know -- O Muhammad -- that there is a wisdom behind misleading the idolators, and that had Allah willed, He would have directed all people to guidance,
Had Allah willed, they would not have taken others besides Him in worship.
Allah's is the perfect will and wisdom in all decrees and decisions, and He is never questioned about what He does, while they all will be questioned.

109.And insult not those whom they worship besides Allah, lest they insult Allah wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We have made fair seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall inform them of all that they used to do.
    109. And they swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that if there came to them a sign, they would surely believe therein. Say: "Signs are but with Allah and what will make you perceive that (even) if it came, they will not believe''

110. And We shall turn their hearts and their eyes away, as they refused to believe therein for the first time, and We shall leave them in their trespass to wander blindly.
Thus it is clear that they refers to the idolators

I have made it clear to you that if you read the verses of that particular topic you will come to know that in the verse you have quoted they refers to the idolators

You do not know
because you have taken a random verse and quoted.

Read the Qur'an from the begining to the end, chapter by chapter, topic by topic and try to understand what it says to mankind.

Anyway I appreciate your frankness in admitting that you do not know.

Please read my post again to know the answers to the other questions asked by you.

Sure. Allah knows best.

But remember that He sent down the Qur'an for us and has made things clear. We must try to understand the Verses with reference to the context as explained by the Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam and as understood by the Sahaba and not
as "what my books said or your books said".

Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala says:

"(This is) a Book (the Qur'aan) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over it's verses, and that men of understanding may remember" [Soorah Saad (38): 29]

"With clear signs and Books (We sent the Messenger). And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam)) the reminder and the advice (the Qur'aan), that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and that they may give thought." [Soorah An-Nahl (16): 44]

Allah, the Most High revealed the Qur'aan as a Mercy and Blessing for people, so that they may understand, contemplate and act upon it. It's passages contain advice and guidance for those who believe in Allah and the Day of Judgment. Hence, a Believer's success in this life and the next largely depends on his understanding and application of the Qur'aan.

One who learns (understands) the Book of Allaah, implements its command and avoids its prohibition, and does not transgress its stated limits, the Qur'aan will then be a proof for him on the Day of Resurrection.

As stated by the Prophet of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam): "The Qur'aan is a proof on your behalf or against you." [Sahih Muslim no. 432]

The participial adjective mubin may denote an attribute of the noun which it qualifies ("clear", "manifest", "obvious", etc.) as well as its function ("making clear" or "manifesting", i.e., the truth), either of which meanings is dictated by its context. And on the Day that the Hour will be established- on that Day the followers of falsehood will lose. And you will see each nation humbled to their knees: each nation will be called to its Record. Ar-Rum (30:54)

Allh is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and grey hair. He creates what He wills. And it is He Who is the AllKnowing, the AllPowerful (i.e. Able to do all things). Ar-Rum (30:54)

Bismillahir rahmaanir raheem

Surah Luqman :

13. And when Luqman said to his son when he was advising him: "O my son! Join not in worship others with Allah. Verily, joining others in worship with Allah is a great Zulm (wrong) indeed.''

14. And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years -- give thanks to Me and to your parents. Unto Me is the final destination.

15. But if they strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not; but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and in obedience. Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do.

16. "O my son! If it be (anything) equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the heavens or on the earth, Allah will bring it forth. Verily, Allah is Subtle, Well-Aware.''

17. "O my son! Perform the Salah, enjoin the good, and forbid the evil, and bear with patience whatever befalls you. Verily, these are some of the important commandments.''

18. "And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily, Allah likes not any arrogant boaster.''

19. "And be moderate in your walking, and lower your voice. Verily, the harshest of all voices is the braying of the asses.

3:79 (Y. Ali) It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the prophetic office, should say to people: "Be ye my worshippers rather than Allah's": on the contrary (He would say) "Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all: For ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly."

COLOR=red]3:80 (Y. Ali) Nor would he instruct you to take angels and prophets for Lords and patrons. What! would he bid you to unbelief after ye have bowed your will (To Allah in Islam)?

By the Fig and the Olive, And the Mount of Sinai,
And this City of security,- We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,
Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,-
Except such as believe and do righteous deeds:
For they shall have a reward unfailing.
Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)?

So who henceforth will give the lie to thee about the judgment? Is not Allah the wisest of judges? 95.1-8

The Holy Qur'an > Surah  Al-i-'Imran> Verse  191

Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (with the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught hast thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the Penalty of the Fire.
