This is not evidence for women driving cars, this is an exception to the rule not the rule it self as it was a time of jihad not time of peace ie extreme circumstances. On women driving cars there is nothing that says they can not , women have ridden camels in the past without objection. This matter is only an issue with salafi's as the madhhbs have prescribed limits on how far a women can travel without a mahram. Many women scholars of Islam where also business women. |
