um, on operating system is not based on C++
c++ is used on windows application building, u need to know langs like 86x86 assembly languages for a true operating system. |

Subhan Allah, The Project is too big, that i have kept it under 2009-2010 plan for Islamic Intellect to take up the project for commencement, as i faced a very strong crisis for developers when i started with it initially. Despite the project's size and critisisms the potential impact that such a project would have in uniting and creating opportunites for our Muslim Brothers and Sisters in the field of computing is Alhamdulilah vast. You just have to break into Microsoft's HQ, go to the second room on your left there is a painting of bill-gates; under the painting its a safe. Inside the safe is the master copy of window's source code. Enjoy. |

Masha Allah, using the code of linux is a good idea, but i dont think we can get the code of windows can we?
The OS is going to be nothing diffrent than the current Windows or linux in general aspects. the diffrence would be that i would insha Allah include other islamic attributes. The algorithm is yet to be decided Jazak Allah |

But, bro what exactly you mean by Islamic OS? shall we rewrite the code of windows or Linux? However, you can customise linux if you want it to look like Islamic OS.

never did i say that windows or linux is haram, all that i meant is an islamic envirnonment is better than a secular one. I never asked you to develop the OS or others, its i who am going to develop. I wanted to know the opinions of the people from here. thats it. |
