Bismillah, Well, she was attacking Arabs in general and Christian and Muslim Arabs in particular and said she was a human secularist. Then she praised Jewish scholarship saying that they account for most of the up-dated knowledge and science in the world. Something like that. Salaamu Alaykum |

It was this Secular Arab woman saying things about Islam that if she was
Jewish I would have begged her to be silent. She made these sweeping generalizations that you hear from little old men arguing in Yiddish. It was so bizarre that I thought it was a joke. |

All the above shocked me. I felt as if she were scolding me personally for
being a post zionist. It was spooky how much she sounded like my poor dead mother. That clip/site seems to be edited as we speak. When I first saw it there were two men one calling her a heretic and another who was the host of the program. We just threw an Al Jezera guy in jail here for "verifying the positions of missile strikes." He's probably out already because our own press guys here are guilty of that stuff all the time and they had no problem pointing that out over the air. Law forces everywhere are populated by boys and girls who want to be policemen when they grow up. This is a job for responsible adults. You'd be hard pressed to find one on any police force. Bismillah, What shocked you? The fact that she is an anti-religionist or anti-Muslim or an anti-Arab Arab woman? Her so-called facts were skewed and incorrect. Her position will only bring more hardship and hatred to people. There are many scientists of different religions and nationalities all over this world. What is she talking about? Some people in the west mistreat their women in backward ways just as some Muslim men do. There are mysogynistic men spread out pretty evenly all over this earth. Why is she insulting the Arab Culture? It sounds like she is trying to get attention by having an innovative position, but it is just more hatred and disrespect from an ignorant person to me. Daniel, Well, I watched the video. I was not shocked. I have certainly seen secular people spout this kind of ***** many times (they even visit here on occasion!). The video was very badly edited. I wonder where it came from, who is behind it and what the entire interview was like? There are many, many forces at work causing mischief amongst human kind these days - trying very hard to divide and conquer. Stuff like this video usually does the trick... Which al-jazeera did you find it on .net or .com? The first is legit, the second is a propaganda tool of Uncle Sam. What exactly about it did you find shocking? Peace, ummziba. |
