asalamalykum, unfortunately wikipedia is a zionist run entity (see ziopedia). But that is something we have to deal with because currently any search in google for an islamic term comes back with wikipedia in the top 10. So unfortunately we have to work with wikipedia.

That said, the good news is that there is now a muslim wikipedia where we can bask in the glow of brother hood :-) and write articles about islam and islam related subjects to our hearts content

that is because no one has written anything about the subject 'Jew' Yet.

The muslim wikipedia is an online encyclopedia where the community enter the information.

So for example, if you are a member of a muslim organisation, or you have a local community, or say you have an islamic book you have read on say Emaan. Then if you are passionate about sharing that Islamic knowledge with the whole world, all you do is

Go to the muslim wikipedia. enter the subject in the search box
type go. If the page already exists you can edit it (you have to be logged in). and if it doesn't already exist a page will come up asking you if you want to create the page. In which case you just click on the yes, and then start editing the page.
Inshallah the article or info doesn't have to be complete, as someone else will come along and add to it, if it needs adding.

I believe this is an absolutey brilliant oppurtunity for muslims to build an encyclopedia on Islam that will present Islam to the world as it should be presented.

Muslimwikipedia....your idea is great and very informitive info however I personally wouldn't feel comfortable about writing something on Judaism seeing as me, myself, I am no Jew. Any opinions coming from a Muslim in respect with other religions would in fact be from the prospective of a Muslim therefore, any research, comments etc would be bias. Of course what would help is encourage Jews as well as Christians to write information about their religions as well as Sikhs, Hindus etc to avoid stereotypes and misinformation. I would happily write about philosophy and metaphysics and such....!
