   My name is Ferdousi. 

I am interested in joining this forum because I want guidance of becoming a better Muslim. I know I have the guidance from Allah (SWT), however I feel like I need advice, and different perspectives on issues. 

For example, I am struggling with being a Muslim in a modern society, like USA. How do we transfer Islam into this modernizing world, and at what point? 

I understand this is not only an issue for Islam, but also for so many other religions. 

I hope this community/ forum will be able to guide me through this stage of not knowing.

	Dear Ferdousi, In any situation and under any circumstances a muslim should remain a muslim by following the orders of Allah SWT and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW). We must show noble character towards others wherever we are, Insya Allah... sooner or later others will know that Islam is the religion of rahmatan lil alamin.
