keeping different usernames

What is your purpose here? In spite of many replies posted by many posters that make it clear as to why they have chosen their user name other than real name in this "internet environment", you continue to persist that "we should keep our real name as our user name" without any evidence from Islamic sources.

How do I know if you are really "Salman", and using your real name? It is internet. People have every right to protect their privacy. It is simple, and you are making it a big issue. We have gone 5 pages on this far less important issue compared to many other in this world, yet no solution. Is this islamic discussion you are engaged in or you are only trying to promote your thinking without any evidence? Please stop doing that, and follow forum guidelines.

i don't agree with you. wouldn't you like others to know by revealing your real name that you are a muslim? Allah has given us such good names. Then why keep different names? and there is no point in hiding your gender.
