Vaginismus in Muslim Community

   Assalam alaykom all,

I am conducting research in order to help Muslim women who suffer from Vaginismus. I've read that Vaginismus can appear in women who had a strict religious upbringing but this explanation didn't really convince. I think Islam is rather a strength than a problem cause for women with Vaginismus and I'd be very interested in communicating with Muslim Gynecologist and Specialist who could maybe elaborate on this. 

I'm also looking for Muslim Women who successfully overcame their vaginismus to share their story in order to give hope to the other muslim women who are still struggling. It could be done anonymously.

	Could a muslim gyneacologist or any body knowledgeable on the subject tell us whether it is a proven fact that an islamic upbringing can be a cause of vaginismus? Thank you and ‎بارك الله فيكم
