No, my sis you are no different than my wife. I can only hope that you two would understand that life is much beyond these little tit bit issues of my family vs his/her family, kind of stuff. But we are all humans, I must not forget this, as well. Best regards.

Asalamualukum,
I have been married for 5 years and have an 8 month old child. I was born and raised in America and my husband is Pakistani. We are fine with eachother but the thing is my in laws. Ever since we came to America he has been sending whatever money he makes to Pakistan. His older brother is in jail and his other brother is not working for various reasons. Both brothers have families of their own. I understand him sending money to his parents and brothers but the issue is that here he tells me to not buy this or not buy that. It's not that I am spending his money uselessly but if o want to buy a toy or even a phone for myself its always an arguement. Am I wrong to be frustrated since his brother is in jail? It's not even about the money or lack of. It's just that I constantly feel that his family comes before me. I probably sound like an annoying unappreciative wife right?I'm |
