Wearing hijab at airport

   I really don't know where to ask about this...

When last time I went to Bulgaria at that place where they check the bags, etc., I had to take off even my scarf. And I wonder if I wear hijab would hey ask me to take it off too??! Because I use pins and it's made of metal.

	Salam, Theoretically no, you don' t have to do that. But might the officer will check you manually, in case the metal detector rings, to verify the the source of the rings, because it's obvious from your pins they should let you go. However to make it simple , just use hijab that no need pin or use plastic/non metal pins when you fly.

"salam"/ peace I happened to see this topic on "hijab" here at the forum http://www.islamicity.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=29755, .. and it has a reference to a video on "hijab" I thought of you and your topic here, .. cause it shows a kind of hijab that is very very chic/ elegant and it doesn't require pins.
