Islam is a religion of kindness and mercy, it is a religion of ease and tolerance. It is regarded as the vital aspect of 5 pillars of Islam and consists of almost seventy branches. When Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) was asked: What is Emaan.
He replied: Emaan is patience and tolerance. From the above mentioned hadith, it means that both patience and tolerance are regarded as the integral part of belief of Muslims and they are from the best aspects of Eemaan, which declares the fact that there is no God but Allah. Tolerance and patience are regarded as the traits of every Muslim and are also a part of Eemaan in Islam. It acknowledges the unparallel sovereignty of one and only true Creator, Allah. Eemaan(Faith) is regarded is the core and heart of Islam and is the heart and core of faith. Any piece of knowledge or deed that does not make the faith is not considered normal and faith that does not urges to perform the good deed is also abnormal. When a thing is part of such important aspect of Islam, the Eemaan is not just the part, instead from the best of various branches of Eemaan, you will be able to understand the value and its significance in the life of a Muslim. Attacking and Degrading of religion is not at all easy. The religion that makes it as a vital part of faith for being tolerant is not attacked by some modernists who claim that Islam is not the intolerant religion. You need to understand that people who deviate from the basic teachings of any religion cannot be taken as the perfect examples of that religion. Ina similar manner, if any person calls himself as a Muslim, it shows the intolerance where he must not harm any other person whether he is a Muslim or a non-Muslim without any valid reason. Tolerance is Islam is not just a fairytale phrase, instead all Muslims live in it. Islam also urges all mankind to be tolerant and forgiving to others. This is mentioned in both Sunnah and the Quran. You will never find a believer except for the one who has hope and fear in his heart. Edited by anisafatima - 17 June 2013 at 11:35am |
