I disagree with many of her messages.
Without the feminism movement, women would still not be able to vote, drive a car, open a bank account, or broadcast a Youtube video like this one. |

I don't agree with the speaker. True, there are many extremists in the Feminist movement, that take things too far but that doesn't mean we should undermine the movement itself. Feminism has achieved a lot for women in the western world, and it gets a bad rap in the media. Just because PETA is loco doesn't mean all Animal Right groups or movements are bad. Feminism started off with the objective that women should have similar legal rights as men. What's wrong with that notion? I feel that nowadays the term Feminism has taken a negative connotation. I think that Feminism basically talks about equal rights and the 'female choice' which is pat of Muslim values and Islam. Many feminists raise valid points and are doing good.
