How even this can happen in a place with very large population? 40 minutes is a very long time in calling for help. All the so called afraid to be called as witness is nonsense. Thank God that I am not that kind.

But what happened there was 40 minutes in very crowded place. 40 minutes is very very very long time in this situation. But to further the degradation there were few rape cases in India in barely few months. The last one was 5 year old girl, it's still in the news now. Something is not right. This is the nation that championed Yoga to the world. So I think the word degradation is very appropriate word. They not just poor materially but also morally bankrupt. |

All you need to read the history of that godforsaken land then you wouldn't bother. Any nation that can be enslaved has no values left. It is just a couple of generation gone by with so called independance.It takes many generations to evolve the Compassion, mercy and justice as characteristics. Btw these are the traits of free people and the subcontinent is long way from such a state. Then the gene pool and the caste system are not helping the cause of lofty character development in a super over populated environs. |

Tibet has produced the Dalai Lama. Plenty of compassion. We are still waiting for a global reformer of Islam. |
