I wonder does anyone ever pay attention to all the accomplishments of Israel and maybe think to learn from their example?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Israeli_inventions_and_discoveries How they focus on continuing to forge ahead in spite of constant obstacles? desalinization and solar projects are wise efforts at sustainability Why waste efforts and energies seeking after enemies when you could be looking after your own people I say. They set a far better example than some. |

Israel does have some brilliant and intelligent people. The same is true of Russia and Germany. Yet this doesn't take away from the horrors of Nazi imperialism or Stalinist (or contemporary Russian government) war crimes and abuses, and the same is true of Israels crimes against the Palestinian people. |

With the full assistance of others either willingly or by coercion. Iran is different breed which deserve the praise. After 32 years under embargo they have running space program, nuclear program, medical program and whatever else you name it they got them all. While the so called God chosen people must be assisted all the time by it's willing or unwilling slaves. They have been praised unreservedly many times as the finance expert, and yet look at Madoff, look at the American economy. Yet they in it as THE expert? Let's isolate them like what they do to North Korea or Cuba or Iran and see what happen. But no they must be praised regardless. They are parasite that decays the main tree. They are not enemies. But today they are usurping the Palestinian land, and what they say? It's our land, the book says so. |

Greetings Nothing, I agree with you and had even considered mentioning Iran. I can not however agree with all that you say. I would not say Iran has not had assistance from the U.S. The U.S. once had a large presence, and relationship with Iran, from which they benefited. To where did they send their young people for their engineering educations? Yes, they too forge forward with attending to their own people, their own needs, maintaining their focus on progress for their people. I just wish they would get off of the aggressive stance that they hold towards others. But yes, Iran, too, sets a good example of progress through trial, maintaining focus. The difference I see between Israel and Iran, which is why I did not feel I could commend Iran, is that Iran maintains a hostile intent towards the world, whereas, I do not feel this is the case with Israel. Israel, I believe, would be content not to do battle with the world, whereas I feel Iran seeks it. Salaam, CH Regarding this; "... what they say? It's our land, the book says so" Even the qur'an says so... so it's a bit of a moot argument, isn't it? I don't say I agree. I think everyone ought to be able to live together in peace in the land, and I think the Israelites were willing to see this happen before the attack of 1947, but everyone has to share this desire and work towards it. The neighboring Arabs overlook this opportunity. They prefer seeing Israel as an enemy. Very sad.

How can anyone ignore Israel. Finally the anointed one did breakdown and went over to the land of the ones who did the anointing! Just pull the dollar bills out of your wallet and figure who has the authority to issue those worldwide then you will realize how much Israel has accomplished? While at it try reading the secretary's name!
