As Salamu Alaikum

It is the other way around Raft ibn Khadij  and Samura bin Junduh were allowed although they were young.

Amongst the young boys Abdullah ibn Umar Khattab and Usama bin Zaid I came remember. Radhi Allahu Anhu

I agree with brother Saladin regarding Abu Jahl

Salaam Alaika,

Raft ibn Khadij and Samrah were among the boys not allowed to partcipate at Uhud but they managed to stay.

Mu'adh ibn Amr and Mu'adh ibn Afra were the boys who killed Abu Jahl at Badr.

No!!! It was n't Abu Jahl.
By the way, was Aabu Jahl killed in "Battle of Uhud" ?

As'Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

That was a good surprise woodstock. Its many months, you have not been here. Hope our other members to peep in here.

Glad to see both our sisters {Sis Alwardah and Sakeenah} active. Chrysallis too is regular, MashaAllah.Hope Brother Saladdin and Mohammad too join us.

Insha Allah, hereafter we shall have regular questions and answers discussions. We shall correct each other if wrong or add up the knowledge by sharing. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, help us in our task. Ameen

Here is the next Question

Who were the two young muslims, disallowed to participate in the Battle of Uhud by Prophet Muhammad ?

As Salamu Alaikum

Dont worry to much about it,we all make mistakes and are learning from each other.Smile

Here is a nice fatawa to explain the difference between Prophets and Messengers

http://fatwaislam.com/fis/index.cfm?scn=fd&ID=181

Lets recap the last question the Surah named after Prophets:

Surah Yunus 10

Surah Hud 11

Surah Yusuf 12

Surah Ibrahim 14

Surah Muhammad 47

Wa Alaikum Salam

Verily your Lord is quick in punishment; yet He is indeed Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful (Surah Al-Anam 6:165)
"Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him is our return" (Surah Baqarah 2: 155)
