Who is Your Favorite Da`iyah?

Few of the da`iyahs (Arabic for "callers to Islam") are able to reach out to Muslim youth, and very few of those da`iyahs are really able to interact with them. It is really a rare characteristic nowadays to find a da`iyah who not only talks to Muslim youth, but rather "walks the talk."
Typically, such a da`iyah is concerned about the youth, listens to them, understands them, and knows "their language." He provides practical examples for how to be a steadfast Muslim. He does not torment the person on his or her past, but rather transforms his or her failures and mishaps into a hopeful outlook to the future. He finds a role for everyone in the call to Almighty Allah.

Believing in the vital function of da`wah, IslamOnline.net will feature your favorite English-speaking da`iyahs by holding regular interviews with them and publishing some of their works whether printed or recorded. This will be an ongoing campaign to introduce those da`iyahs to the users of the Internet, but we cannot do this without your help. We believe that each and every one of you can contribute to our cause and hopefully be rewarded from Almighty Allah for spreading the good.

Share your thoughts with us. Who is your favorite English-speaking da`iyah whose knowledge and views you trust and who you think is close to Muslim youth? What is your criteria in choosing that da`iyah to be your favorite? If you have any links to that da`iyah's works, please feel free to share them with us.

Don't forget! The one who points the way to good deeds is like the one who does them. May Allah accept your good deeds.
