I hope someone here can help me out with a couple of quick questions. Is Mustafa an Arabic name? Is the accent on the first syllable (MOOS-ta-fah), or the second (moo-STA-fah)?

Thanks abuayisha, but I've already read the Wikipedia article, which gives several pronunciations. I was really hoping to hear from people either named Mustafa themselves or who know someone by that name.
My main question is: do most people accent the first syllable, or the second?

Hello Ron, Please click on the speaker sign (bottom right corner) to listen to the pronunciation of Mustafa.
