  • And so We left therein a message for those who fear the grievous suffering [which awaits all evildoers]. - 51:37 (Asad) -

    وَفِي مُوسَى إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ (51:38)

    Wafee moosa ith arsalnahu ila firAAawna bisultanin mubeenin

    Az-Zariyat (The Winds that Scatter) - 51:47 
    وَالسَّمَاء بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ (51:47)

    Waalssamaa banaynaha biaydin wainna lamoosiAAoona

    Wala tajAAaloo maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara innee lakum minhu natheerun mubeenun

    Kathalika ma ata allatheena min qablihim min rasoolin illa qaloo sahirun aw majnoonun

  • Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening ar­rogance! - 51:53 (Asad) -

    فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَا أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ (51:54)

    Fatawalla AAanhum fama anta bimaloomin

    Fainna lillatheena thalamoo thanooban mithla thanoobi ashabihim fala yastaAAjiloona

    Fawaylun lillatheena kafaroo min yawmihimu allathee yooAAadoona

  • For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised - 51:60 (Asad) -
