Advice of the Prophet

Companion of Prophet Muhammad , Khalid ibn El Waleed narrated the following:

A Bedouin came one day to the Prophet and said to him, "O, Messenger of God! I've come to ask you a few questions about the affairs of this life and the Hereafter. "

The Prophet responded Ask what you wish.

Bedouin: I'd like to be the most learned of men.
Prophet: Fear God, and you will be the most learned of men.

Bedouin: I wish to be the richest man in the world.
Prophet: Be contented, and you will be the richest man in the world.

Bedouin: I'd like to be the most just man.
Prophet: Desire for others what you desire for yourself, and you will be the most just of men.

Bedouin: I want to be the best of men.
Prophet: Do good to others and you will be the best of men.

Bedouin: I wish to be the most favored by God.
Prophet: Engage much in God's praise, and you will be most favored by Him.

Bedouin: I'd like to complete my faith.
Prophet: If you have good manners you will complete your faith.

Bedouin: I wish to be among those who do good.
Prophet: Adore God as if you see Him. If you don't see Him, Know that He sees you. In this way you will be among those who do good.

Bedouin: I wish to be obedient to God.
Prophet: If you observe God's commands you will be obedient.

Bedouin: I'd like to be free from all sins.
Prophet: Bathe yourself from impurity and you will be free from all sins.

Bedouin: I'd like to be raised on the Day of Judgment in the light.
Prophet: Don't wrong yourself or any other creature, and you will be raised on the Day of Judgment in the light.

Bedouin: I'd like God to bestow His mercy on me.
Prophet: If you have mercy on yourself and on others, God will grant you mercy on the Day of Judgment.

Bedouin: I'd like my sins to be very few.
Prophet: If you seek the forgiveness of God as much as you can, your sins will be very few.

Bedouin: I'd like to be the most honorable man.
Prophet: If you do not complain to any fellow creature, you will be the most honorable of men.

Bedouin: I'd like to be the strongest of men.
Prophet: If you put your trust in God, you will be the strongest of men.

Bedouin: I'd like to enlarge my provision.
Prophet: If you keep yourself pure, God will enlarge your provision.

Bedouin: I'd like to be loved by God and His messenger.
Prophet: If you love what God and His messenger love, you will be among their beloved ones.

Bedouin: I wish to be safe from God's wrath on the Day of Judgment.
Prophet: If you do not lose your temper with any of your fellow creatures, you will be safe from the wrath of God on the Day of Judgment.

Bedouin: I'd like my prayers to be responded.
Prophet: If you avoid forbidden actions your prayers will be responded.

Bedouin: I'd like God not to disgrace me on the Day of Judgment.
Prophet: If you guard your chastity, God will not disgrace you on the Day of Judgment.

Bedouin: I'd like God to provide me with a protective covering on the Day of Judgment.
Prophet: Do not uncover your fellow peoples faults, and God will provide you with a covering protection on the Day of Judgment.

Bedouin: What will save me from sins?
Prophet: Tears, humility and illness.

Bedouin: What are the best deeds in the eyes of God?
Prophet: Gentle manners, modesty and patience.

Bedouin: What are the worst evils in the eyes of God?
Prophet: Hot temper and miserliness.

Bedouin: What alleviates the wrath of God in this life and in the Hereafter?
Prophet: Concealed charity and kindness to relatives.

Bedouin: What extinguishes hell's fires on the Day of Judgment?
Prophet: Patience in adversity and misfortunes.

Imam El Mustaghfiri said: "I have never heard a tradition more comprehensive of the beauties of religion, and more beneficial than this hadith. It collects all the good things of Islam but not put to use." (Related by Imam Ibn Hambal)

NOTE: This is a widely quoted narration but according to some sources it does not have an "Isnad" (chain of narrators). Hadith scholars note that this is possibly a collection and compilation of the meanings of several well-known hadiths and reports.

You are certainly upon a sublime Character ie Prophet Muhammad

(S.A.W) as Allah mentioned in His Holy Book Al Quran. The Prophet

was asked what good attribute has been given to man and he

answered :Good conduct..Subhanallah what beautiful concise and

brief answer .This is why He said in another Hadith I have been

sent to perfect good conduct. Also He is reported to have said

What will be heaviest in the Balance (on the the Day Judgement)

He said it will be good conduct. Abu Huraira asked Rasululah

What is good conduct ? He said Keep tie of relationship with one

who cuts it off, forgive one who oppresses you, give (charity

gift) to one who deprives you.Now who can do that only true

believer who follows the teachings of our beloved Prophet of

Islam based on justice can do these. May Allah give us taufiq to

have the Akhalaq of the Prophet (S.A.W) who has perfect sublime

Character as Allah Himself praised him but effort is

required. They are attributes which will take people to Paradise

mainly which of course included the God Fear and Good manners.SO

we must be good examples for others to follow.

I am so thankful to Allah Pak for bringing me into this world a Muslim, a day does not pass, unless, I thank Allah Pak for His beautiful Dunya we live & enjoy to the fullest. How unfortunate are those that cannot fathom the thought of being close to the Almight Allah Pak. One must enter with his/her whole heart in the remembrance of the AlMighty Allah Pak & he/she will find spiritual guidance from the AlMighty, Merciful & very kind Allah Pak. We all go through ups & downs in life, but if you sincerely, seek guidance, than seek from no other than the SOURCE (ALLAH PAK). I believe anyone can experience spiritual joy, so long as they involve Allah Pak. Saying beautiful things about Allah Pak takes the spirit to the highest level. May Allah Pak continue to give me guidance in becoming a better Muslim, always be kind & good to others. May Allah Pak guide & forgive us all Ameen.

This hadeeth and the advices in it should be

disseminated throughout several phases of our

lives. Firstly, it should be a mainstay in all

Muslim curricula at the earliest levels. Since

the age of distinction is suggested at 10 years

old since that is when the child is expected to

be more consistent with prayer, that might be a

    good first phase.

Then the young Muslims entering puberty &

adolescence should be reminded with more focus on

their insight on the meanings of the advice in

their lives as they try to determine if, what,

and how they will practice their faith.

Finally, we adults could stand a healthy dose of

reminder of this wisdom to help us at times when

    we just plain forget.

Allah guide us to practice of this faith as You

    intended us to practice it.

I have in my life always tryed to be the best person I can be all the the things your site teaches me that I am a good person However, for many years I have been known as what we call in england to soft of heart and, told I let people take advantage of my good nature, and said I would help my enemy if they knocked on my door, and you will never get any thanks. I have never wanted thanks for anything in my life just a smile or to know that we can be safe It is true I would help anyone who came to my door However, I never think of anyone as my enemy All these things are true of me but I have never allowed what poeple say about who I am, change me, I always say but I like being who I am And now I have found your site I am so pleased that I didn't change who I am, after reading the advise of the Prophet this is the way god meant for me to be and with the help of Islam I will become a better person I don't think I can ever express enough how greatful I am for your site thank you islamicity

If the Prophet were permitted to reappear today in Mecca or Medina he would be met by the Muslims with the same zeal and affection accorded to him during his earthly life.He would see with deep sense of pleasure that the Holy Book that he left remained unaltered, and it is chanted and recited exactly as he and his companions did.At the same time the Muslims continued to uphold the Unity of the Creator as taught by him not making him a god or son of a god (Nauzubillah) as others did and still doing. They try to uphold his teachings from cradle to grave.
