Yemen: Facing War, Famine and Pestilence

The UN's emergency relief coordinator has arrived in Yemen's capital Sanaa to see the deteriorating humanitarian crisis for himself. The war has killed more than 10,000 Yemenis and injured 40,000 more.

The war-torn country is now close to a famine and is facing a cholera outbreak that's caused more than two thousand deaths. The UN estimates that around 80 percent of the population is in need of humanitarian aid.

Al Jazeera's Victoria Gatenby reports.
