Buring Christian parent

   I am a convert to Islam.(alhamdullah)

I have a question for an imam or elder , who maybe give me some advice.  I take care of my mother, she has some dementia, I spoke with her about her future arrangements, for when she passes. At the time she understood the conversation completely. She requested to be cremated.  It is against Islam , I know, but it's her request. So I don't know what I should do.

Am I making a sin if I uphold her request?
